Eh....don't let those pics scare you off. Just unlucky. As long as you pay attention its not that bad. Its really one of my favorite trails.

Wish I had LT up front then I'd be confident. My rear is still very very flex bu the front can't keep up so it still makes it lean. Not too bad tho I guess..

Either way chance on Moab this year are so low for me idk why I am even making plans lol :frusty: mostly cause I have to redeem myself haha

I've been starting to look at trails I want to do. Ill only be wheeling Wednesday and Thursday and then starting my drive home Friday. I think I'd like to do some easy scenic trails the first day, like top of the world. Then Thursday I'd like to do some more challenging trails like fins and things but nothing real sketchy since I have no time for damage.

Any reccomendations are appreciated and if there's a list of what trails are being run each day that would be cool.

yea i'm excited to see how it's done on a large scale like cruise...it'll be nice not to have a dog along too, so hopefully getting in on the elephant hill trip...we're working out the details now, but almost certain i'm going...it'll be a good testing trip for the new rubbers

    :woot:

glad you can make it out this year!

    trifecta thursday...yes!

rim saturday...might be in for this depending on the interest levels from others as well..

and yes, adam i'll try to keep my pace moving :D i'll have to rely on the go pro for my moving photos :D

should be a nice trip for you...i'm excited to get down there early and get a few runs in before the main group...most likely going to explore some of the canyons and get some short hikes in

there's a list on the first page with links to details on most all the trails you can get some homework done. i've included the ratings on the list as well, 1-10

we'll also have a signup board everyday so you can see who is running what...and planning the night before will also help you get with groups you feel comfortable with...

if you can make trifecta with us on thursday, adam is a great guy to learn some tricks from and it'll be a nice welcome to moab as that has one of the most iconic obstacles in moab..

stay at BFE as long as you want man...it's free! we'll be collecting donations for BFE and moab friends for wheeling while we're out there and proceeds from the raffle go to them as well

there are many other BLM areas that you can explore and find some free camping as well...i'm not a fan of paying for camping much these days, plus it gets you out exploring some new areas..i have a few spots i can share with you if you want

    ^this too

i'd be down to hit up top of the world wednesday if you go that route...it was on my list of trails to do before the masses arrive

thursday you can probably pull together some interest in fins and/or hells no problem...two very easy trails that have some fun optional obstacles that can give you a bit of a challenge if you want..

plus it's a whole lot of slickrock which is something moab is known for, so it'll be good to get that under your belt before making the trek back

    kane & water = AMAZING!

the numerous creek crossings and lunch on the creek were definitely the highlights of that trail

Except last year, I think there was maybe 8" of water max.

I want to do the trifecta since I showed up a few hours too late to do it last year. I'd love to do top of the world since I missed that one too and I am always down to run Kane's again. But I'll be up there the Saturday or Sunday before the meet! So I'll have plenty of time!

Don't plan on a lot of water on Kane Creek. End of may/early June are too late in the season for lots of water. End of March/into April are the best times for water on that trail with the spring runoff.
