I am not upset about it. The guy is kind of a buddy but every time I see him he says Toyotas suck so I'm looking for a smart ass comeback

Dude, you're 16. I assume he is around or the same age..just talk shit back and who cares what he says.

You can always resort to "Your mom" jokes

    Guy 1 : "Toyota sucks!"
Guy 2 : "So does your mom!"

    BBBUUURRRNNN! :notsure:

He would have to bring to rest of his "rover burgade" because his breaks down all the time.

I agree 100%. I have never been in one that didn't have warning lights lit on the dash and wasn't leaking oil from somewhere. Absolute pieces of shit.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
Is this 'landrover guy' 16 also?

Curious, did you buy your truck yourself? If you did, next time he lips off, tell him it must be nice to spend daddy's money. Having leather seats with fancy stitching in a different color do not make his POS good.

He actually has a 70 series it looks alright but it always breaks down and he thinks its the most bad ass thing on the planet. So he drives his dads zebra print discovery I think. I have an ugly colored truck but its no zebra print rover....

I have a 2006 LR3 as well as my Taco, so I've done some comparing on the same trails.

I notice I take way more risks with the Taco because parts are easy and cheap to fix. The LR3, not so much.

LR3 is much more comfortable on trail rides, more luxury amenities, softer suspension but never bottomed out...etc.

LR3 has much more sophisticated suspension configurations, 6 modes including rock crawling, 3 different heights (entry, normal, and off road), full time 4WD, DAC, and the triptonic is way more fun than our PRNDL.

Taco used much less gas offroad, and makes less noises after a dusty trail.

Both were equal when in low traction situations.

Overall, I'd consider them in two different classes. Taco is a lot more fun for me, and less headache worrying about breaking a part. LR3 is a great offroad vehicle that is just as comfortable on the road. I'd rather drive the LR3 on the road, and the Taco offroad.
