Its been, what, a year or more in the timeline since they talked? Even with sporadic radio, the batteries would have been long gone. I think everyone assumes they would have died anyway...

I think we will see him, too. But as we know, the show isn't to keen on following the books - which is a good thing, because why know whats going to happen?

but they were squatting in their house. Morgan mentioned quickly that 'it was empty when we got here' or something to that effect. She may have been squatting their with them for a time though.

^This... and as OZ said with Morgan's wife. My wife thinks Andrea's sister showed the same thing just before she killed her. If there is a residual memory, then it must be on the most basic level at best...

A scene with Rick trying to reach Morgan and the batteries dying would illistrate better that he hasn't given up.

I like that the show doesn't follow the books enough to make me feel like I don't know what's going to happen, but does follow enough to where I can hope it happens like the book and am pleased when it does.

Good point...I like some of the similarities, but Rick's going off and scaring Tyrese's group over to Woodbury is something that wasn't expected or what the books say...to me, there is just enough but not too much.

Exactly, I really would like it to develop more with that idea. Not to the point of the zombies turning on other zombies, but some kind of memory.

As I was watching the first episode again I got that nervous feeling that I use to get with the first 2 seasons. Sucks because I don't get that way anymore with the show. The storyline is more in depth and character based, but I've said it before, they are too safe right now. I now it will change, but it's the part of the show I really liked.

I agree, I liked the idea of cures/research on the infection.

It's only the third season....who knows how long this show has left. I'm sure it'll be around for awhile.

Yeah, from what I recall, the guy in the CDC told Rick that everyone was infected, right? If thats the case, then it must be some airborne thing...kind of reminds me of the "Day by Day" books by JL Bourne... I normally am not a fan of the zombie books, but those are just awesome - in them everyone is also infected and turns into walkers like Shane did...

I suppose that they will eventually find a cure - about the time the show ends!

Better ending would be to never find a cure. IMO

No doubt... I think it will run a couple more seasons or so, but not too much after that. I, for one, think its one of the best series in a while.

Yeah I hope they don't find a cure either, but it'd be interesting to see some research or trials.
