Found a guy selling a Magnaflow muffler on craigslist. He has no idea what model number but it is brand new never been installed. It is 2.25 in/out which is what my pipes are. He originally bought it for a Camry. Can I use this muffler on my truck? Would I want to use this on my truck? Any input is appreciated. I can't figure much out by going to the magnaflow website.

I'm confused by this too. I've read on TW that we have 2.5 but I think I went on the Magnaflow site or somewhere and it called for 2.25.

I went ahead and just bought it it'll fit on there somehow or another or I'll just sell it. Only paid $20 bucks for it.

Good Idea I'll do that and then compare the two.

All the guys i've asked have said 2.25 posted a thread a while back asking. Still not 100% sure which it is but I'm leaning more towards the 2.25.

The OD of the stock mid pipe measures around 2.375 ish. You need a 2.5" inlet muffler with a reducer. I used 2.5" diameter steel pipe, which has an ID of near 2.375. Makes for a tight fit - but works great (after grinding down the weld seam.
