I had a couple classes where the average at the end of the semester was a D+ or so and the professor is still professing.

I swear every thread here turns into a fap fest LOL

    Men... :D

But honestly I'd probably tap that ass too. :anonymous:

I pretty much bombed my finance exam. It was mostly based on a worksheet they did together in class and I ended up missing it because I was busy foaling out a mare.

I had that happen with a teacher. They think because they have taught the class so many times they don't miss anything. Then they just use the same cookie cutter test every year. The questions will still be on there no matter what. I had a class like that but I never payed attention in class and read the book the week before the test. Got the highest grade in the class on the first test 97%. Highest grade I ever got on a 300 level class.

Sorry! I try not to post that crap too much but that one was.... "special.";)

Lol well I ended up with a 75. We argued with him about the grades and he said if we can state why we think the answer is what we put he would give us a point.. ended up with 11 extra points

I got to philosophy class today (dumbest class ever) and the professor says "do you all have your 2 page paper to turn in?"
    Me:

I had no idea there was an assignment due. Fail.

You should have asked the professor 'how do you really know there was an assignment due?" Would have been an appropriate philosophical answer.

Oh this little trick saved my ass a few times in school:
Do not hand it in! Wait for the graded responses to come back and calmly walk up to your professor at the end of the class and say you didn't receive yours back. S/He will look in their briefcase while you just stand there with a confused look on your face.

Stick to your guns and do not budge on the fact that you handed it in on the due date (today). When they finally give up say, "well I have it saved on my computer and I can print it out again if needed, but maybe you left it at your office?"

    Hook, line, and sinker.....

    Explain. Lol

A lot of my teachers aren't nice enough to do that stuff. More like "eh sucks for you". My equine genetics teacher told us the other day when we got homework back to not come in and argue about missing a point or two. Well why not? Every point matters to me since I've missed passing a class by 7 points once.

That is awesome! Those things are always all over the place in Wisconsin but you can't shoot them here.

That 16 hour drive through Texas is looking real good. When next season rolls around I am going to hit you up. You should come up for the Wisconsin it is almost always the first Saturday in October.
