    We have a one bird limit and the season is only like a week. Coming to Wisconsin sounds fun! What kind of ducks to yall usually get up there??

    Lots of Teal Green and Blue wing. shovelers, Mallards, Ring necks, Widgeon, Shit loads of coots (Dont really count as a "quality kill" but the limit is 15 a person so they keep the action up).

    Later in the season we shoot Bufflehead, Hooded and Common Mergansers, occasionally we shoot a canvasback or red head. There is pretty big variety up there.

    I live in Illinois and hunt here also but the bird options are pretty much the same.

    What ducks do you have around you?

    Teal mallard I did shoot one canvas and a freakin crapload of ring necks. Also a good bit of gadwall! I don't even waste my time with coot! Steel shot being 25 a box I only shoot them in desperation!
