agree. the original location downtown is the best but they are always so full up. There are however many other locations that arent as busy. I know of 3 others off hand but they are on this side of Pitt.

I figured you would be there. Going to the home show tomorrow at the convention center. It's a huge convention center.

And I was going to suggest Primanti's to you. It is a must, to go if your not from here. I'm always up for Primanti's. Parking and "truck safety" at night might be an issue at the ones closest to the convention center, but if you don't mind a little bit of a drive there are others not to far.

 

Gotta figure out where I'm staying and then I'd say we can go from there.

Seeing as I never met a single person from TW or went to a meet I'm down for whatever in Pittsburgh lol

 

Sweet. Seeing as HomerTaco is the guest of honor and wants Primanti's, than I think we go with that. Got to figure out which one and what night is best for everyone. Only night he is here that is no good for me is Thursday.

 

Tell me this:

If I stay in the hampton Inn on Mcknights Rd. is that a good area or bad area?

OR I can also go further out & stay at The Hyatt in Cranberry Township.

Let me know because I've go to book this soon.

The Hampton Inn on McKnight is right off the highway, would probably take you 10 min or so to get to the convention center.

The Hyatt in Cranberry is around 15 min further out of town, so figure 25 min but it's all highway.

There's a primantis about half a mile from the Hyatt, and the original Primanti's is the closest one to the Hampton Inn.

I'd say Hampton Inn, since the areas are pretty much comparable. Both have a ton of places to eat, shop, bars (since you drink so much ) etc.

 

McKnight rd is a good area, I used to live near there. Cranberry and Wexford are also good. Guess al depends on where you conference is.

Homer taco I live like 5 mins from there. that hotel is in my fire district so if its on fire I will come save you. Lol

 

Oh and I'm in for whatever.

 

There is also an "Adult" video/toy store right on Mcknight rd, for your lonely hotel stay.

And one of the best Mexican restaurants around IMO El Campesino. Mmmmmm.

Also, Craig, any certain night that is better for you for the meet? So we can set a day. You leaving Friday, or taking off Saturday morn?

Yeah, more than I thought. If everyone can make it, will be a nice meet. I'd love to see a place flooded with Tacomas.

 

I'm still in and the only day I can't is Tuesday. I think a Saturday morning at primanti's in the strip would be cool. Keep me posted.

 

Only nite I can't is Tuesday nite. If we need a place to meet we could at my firehall just off 279 at Perrysville ave just a thought I will go anywhere. Primantis sounds great
