Great news about Lynn, glad everything went well. Just be careful with the laundry and sorting the colors...I did the laundry once and ended up with all my whites turning a pretty shade of pink...took quite a few washes in bleach to get them close to white again.

    Great news Mark.

On a sad note a friend of mine on another forum had a heart attack back in October and is in pretty bad shape. I met the man a few years back at a meet upin CT. Really nice guy.

I was contacted by another admin from another forum that I belong to about a combined effort to do a PIF for the heart attack victim. Our forum is very low traffic while the other forum is pretty busy. There is a history of bad blood between the forums in the past but the two principals involved do not post hardly at all anymore. Crazy how drama BS creeps into our lives.

Good morning gents and ladies. Off to the gym then over to a friends house to look at detailing her car. She said there are deep scratches in the trunk area.

I hope I can fix her car and she will be happy with the price. It is not inexpensive for a proper detail.

Blue isn't so bad Carl but to get caught with pink undies is a bitch:rolleyes:...
Redid the bathroom in the last house and it was tough being without a shower for a few days. After ripping everything out down to the studs, the blue rock went up then the new tub and plumbing went in before the rest was done so I could get rid of the grunge:eek:. Best shower I ever had.

Most detail shops around here get $150 to $185 depending on the vehicle. My son used to do detailing on his own charging $100 per car and he was making good money. Had it down to a science:D. Then he got a real job and doesn't do any detailing anymore.

Was he polishing the car to remove swirl marks or just a wash and wax?

The lady needs a new rear bumper and a body shop for damages to the rear and front quarter panels. I really could not help her out.

Well, Lynn hit the lottery...the post-surgical lottery.

SHe was feeling really well when we went to bed last night. She woke up at 1 AM in excruicating pain - tried pain meds and finally called the doctor at 4:30.

Long story short, she has a leaking bile duct - 1 in evey 200 gallbladder removals has this. She has a high pain tolerance and she was in terrible pain - sweating, nauseus, flushed. After hours of tests in the ER...and lots of pain meds - she was admitted this afternoon. She'll be there until Monday, at least. There is a chance it will heal itself. Otherswise she will need a procedure to implant a stent in the duct to close it off.

On the good side, they are giving her a bunch of pin meds that keep her relatively pain free and able to sleep a lot.

Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
