Well, that's comforting to know that I'll at least have 4 similar tires.

Shipping update. Apparently mid western weather has slowed delivery. I was disappointed to find no tires on the porch when I got home. Update says tomorrow. We shall see.

Update: Tires on the front porch when I got home. Upon close inspection, I find one was patched.....and looking inside all 4, none of the patterns match at all. The tread looks good as well as the sidewalls, but I do not like the feeling that all 4 tires are of a different carcass. I will be calling them Monday with the question of honesty toward using 4 of the same carcass'.

You could possibly weigh each of them separately to see if they all are the same. If not, that would be a tell-tale sign that they are different and an argueing point if needed. This would be my biggest concern if they were different.

I will have to tomorrow, out of light right now. The patch and area with rubber cement is quite significant too, I can see it causing a balancing issue.

    Edit: pics incoming.

Their website says they will and do patch tires before the retreading process. Don't you think they would be tossing any tire carcass with holes or patches already in them before retreading? I suppose I only got what I paid for.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT
    AS PER THEIR WEBSITE
All of our tires start out as a used casing. Some of these casings do require repairs and/or patching to ensure a safe second life to the tire. We repair all tires in strict accordance with RMA recommended practices. If, during the course of the life of the tires, you develop a nail hole or other repairable leak, TreadWright tires may be repaired like any other new tire using a plug/patch system repairing the tire from the inside out.

I read that, sure, it is the truth. But it doesn't make me any happier. Loading them in the truck to get mounted tomorrow after work, but still calling TW about the patch and different looking carcass'. I read they will use the same manufacturer brand carcass, but not necessarily the same model, which would be why the pattern inside each tire is different maybe?
