my stocks bumps have a 1/4"(maybe a bit bigger) washer so full bump is right before the tires rub on the fender. havent had any really rubbing issues at full bump. hope it helps.

I was just at his house the other day. We were trying to decide if the wheels on the suburban would fit on the Ranger or not. They didn't stay on there. It started by wondering if he could fit them to get out of his fix it tickets he got for the mud tires not being covered by flaps or larger fenders.

When you build your kit just buy the tie rode extension from Camburg or TC. Then cut it down to the appropriate length u need. Probably 2"s since your kit will be 2" shorter then there kit. If not just take the stock tie rode off, check its size and build an entire one with heim steering. Who ever is doing your kit, if they can handle making a legit long travel kit, then tie rods should be nothing

 

Thays a good idea but those extensions aint cheap, total chaos is about 160 and camburg is about 100.

 

1 foot of chromoly stock is around $10. Just machine it and cut it and it's good

 

This but I leave it to the pros I don't time or money for in house machining.
