yeah.. Just 4 presses. He's falling like a rock.

Dee Milliner ran a 4.31 40. Fastest at his position. Fastest at the combine until that TX kid beat him, though this thread is the only place I've seen that time.

Banks is slow as hell. Darius Slay, however, can keep up with just about anyone. Banks should still go in the first round, given his tape and ability to cover just about anyone. He's been a four year starter and played nearly everywhere in the secondary.

I've seen two 4.25 (Don't remember who they were) and a 4.27 (Combine record is a 4.24). OFFENSIVE LINEMAN from Arkansas Pine Bluff ran a freakin 4.71! Te'o ran like a 4.8 or somethin stupid. An offensive lineman runs a faster 40 than one of the "best" LB in the nation last year? Wow.

The Thorpe winner, Johnthan Banks, ran a 4.6 :notsure: Speed isn't everything. Banks is one of the best defensive backs in the draft because of his size and ability to tackle. The guy plays aggressively too. Granted, Milliner and Slay are both better athletes, Banks has a good enough resume so that he should be a 1st rounder.

Te'o however, hasn't developed as an athlete since high school it seems like. The Texans are probably going to draft him anyway :anonymous:

Yea, but you saw what happened when he played a team that's JUST below NFL speed. Couldn't get off a block, couldn't fill the runnin lanes, etc.

I hope the Texans don't take him. I kinda like the Texans.

We tend to make stupid draft choices. Posey was our last one. Either the Skunk Ape or Te'o will be the next one. It happens. We need to fix the secondary up with a good corner, get a backup inside linebacker, pick up a better receiver, and get a good o-lineman. What Kubiak will do is draft Te'o, the skunk ape, and a dozen nobody tightends.

Te'o is going to be a bust in the NFL. The higher he's drafted, the bigger the bust. I don't understand how they're STILL talking about low 1st, high 2nd round for that kid. These NFL guys need to go watch the BCS game again.

    This.

Any time I saw it was man and Te'o was covering a TE or WR, you better believe that's exactly where I'm goin with the ball if I'm an NFL qb.

I too am looking forward to Jalston Fowler's return. Hope he's ready for the A-day game Apr 20th.

As for Gurley & Yeldon... I see them sitting next to each other in NY at season's end waiting for one of them to be announced as the next Heisman winner. Them boys are STUDS!

Te'o... I hope they don't invite him to the Green Room on Draft Day. I'm afraid he'll be sitting there a long time like Aaron Rodgers or Brady Quinn had to... maybe longer. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I don't know if all the hype has gotten to him or he just got exposed but I can't help but think of "The Boz". You youngins probably don't remember a guy named Brian Bosworth but he entered the NFL hyped to the extreme and pretty much fell flat on his face... I hope Te'o isn't the 2nd coming.

I'd love to see that. I definitely think they have a legit shot if they can grow from what they did last year.

Holy shit, I remember "The Boz". forgot about him.

And I do think Gurley could be in NY, he will definitely be in the conversation that is for sure.
