I don't have an issue with patches. I've had tires patched in the past. I understand Treadwrights are re-treads but I wouldn't want tires that I paid for showing up with a patch on them.

 

pretty much, the driver side has a burn mark that i'll post up in the FS thread shortly. THey are fully functional of course.

I honestly don't see how that patch could effect anything with the tire. It's not like the sidewall is patched. Seems perfectly acceptable to me and I would rock those tires any damn day. Have you ever inspected your "new" tires for flaws before they are mounted? No. But new tires have flaws all the time.

 

I get what your saying. Just not something I would like. But to answer your question, yes I did inspect my new tires, they where delivered to me, then I had them mounted, so I had a chance to look em over.

 

That's a lot of cheese... need some Metamucil with that?

BUT ON MY 2ND SET AND THEY BALANCE JUST GREAT WITH MINIMAL WEIGHT
AND I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH FLATS
IN FACT I HAVE HAD ABOUT 100 NAILS IN THEM RECENTLY AND NEVER LOST AIR
THEN AGAIN I DONT HAVE THE NEW FULL CAPPED TREADWRIGHTS
