I dunno, it "looks" kinda beastly & looks like its got some of the right parts maybe but I sure ain't diggin' the shock angle, too close to being 90' degrees, need a little angle (forward)?...:notsure:

& the limit straps are , well limited it seems

I cant see the inside of the so-called link but it looks like a single piece of sheet metal and no support on the in-board side of the lower shock mount.

That's because your mom didn't slam down whiskey bottles while taking a hit of meth and sticking a needle in her arm with heroin while doing a body slam contest off a roof while on ecstasy every day.

    While pregnant.

Although speaking of S-10's, my brother has a 2000 with the big 6 cyl. (4.0-4.3 ??) which ever it has, have to admit that thing hauls major ass for what it is, very strong & its stock SUA IIRC. Even if not pretty sure it'd be a screaming dez truck if set up right susp. wise

My first real desert truck was a 2001 4x4 S-10 Zr2. They are badass out if the box! That 4.3 vortec is a great motor. I built some new arms and had 8" 2.5 king coilovers on the front and 2.5"x14" bypasses on the rear. That truck handled!

One time I got it stuck:

S10s are good little trucks. I had one but it was far from a desert truck. Any more pictures of yours?

I'd have to dig them up, they are great to mildly build go any farther than that and they are a huge waste. They are a very hard platform to build especially the 4x4s

I had a single cab short ed 5spd with 4.3 in it. Did some mild mods to engine and that puppy was so fun to drive! I burned through tires!

They are good little trucks. I miss the one I had. Would love to build another one but not a offroad truck. Like to said not the best platform when going with a full build. Mine was a extra cab with the 4.3 and 5 speed. My truck was super low. It had a 5/7 drop on it with bigger sway bars. Sucked for speed bumps but was awesome in the corners. I pulled the motor rebuilt it added a comp cam, milled and ported the heads and opens up the valves to 2.02 on intake and 1.6 on exhaust. Also added intake exhaust, reprogrammed the computer. I regeared and went from 3.08 to 3.42 with a lock right locker. It was very hard to keep tires on that truck but it was fun as hell and relatively quick for back in the day.
