buy a new 4 cyl base model 4x4 taco... even if you mod it, it will stay decent on gas.

put 2k down on an 18k dollar truck, payments would be in the 200s... OR sell willy's, and keep eyes peeled for an 80's pickup, un-molested, and pick her up. hell, i've thought about flying to CA, buying one, and driving it back...

I'm actually thinking about snagging a 2000 something VW golf. Always liked them! They seem rather cheap and manuals are quite abundant.

The older car I get, the cheaper taxes are and cheaper it is to insure. Plus if I buy it cash, no payments to deal with. I bought my truck outright and I love not worrying about monthly payments. I hate having debt hanging over my head.

It's a lot to think about. I'll figure something out eventually

I will! If someone knows anyone who wants a resto project, send them my way!

I love buying.... Then end up keeping what I have and have issues selling it. My XJ8 was easy to sell though. I got it from my grandparents and sold it to my uncle in Tucson. That helped fund the 4Runner

I'm looking at Ford Fiestas too because I like how Ford dealt with the bailout thing. Also they cost $13,200 something. Talk that down a bit and boom. Problem is, it's called a fucking fiesta! Gay!

Why lease? It's like making payments on a car you won't own. And you have to return it in the same condition and under a specified mileage.

He said he had no money how can you afford a payment? Can't get much for the Willys. Make it run and drive and you'll get a crap ton more

He had someone offer him 6K twice before, and he turned it down. Maybe he should find that guy and sell it to him now.

I learned that throwing up at work at 1:30 am is no fun :( On the plus side, I did get to go home and sleep in my own bed :D

Oh Chris, I had a woman last night who complained of "burning while I pee". I should get you two to meet up some time to swap stories ;)
