Yesterday I replaced my valvecover gaskets, spark plugs, wires, and cleaned my intake and throttle body. I can feel a few more hp on the butt dyno now :p

No, been threatening for a while to do so now, someday I will make a vid. As far as numbers I would say about 300ish at the rear wheels, for now. :)

Haha, yeah, sounds all loud like a musclecar and all rumbly and stuff, lol.

A LS1 with only 300 to the wheels? Sounds slow to me.

Today my 13 year old son and I took the morning and got greasy!

I Bought the truck with 56k, 1 owner Carfax Certified
    2004 SR5 TRD Automatic 3.4 V6 Rear E locker

I have been searching for this truck for a while, its HARD to find a low mile clean un modified 1st Gen Tacoma, I was lucky enough to find one at a dealer near Denver, after phone negotiations and a few hours the dealer called me and said "Its Yours" ! I felt like a new father, Im a Toyota fanatic already and after owning several 1989-1995 pickups, I wanted a Tacoma. I had great luck with my 1996 4Runner and the bullet proof 3.4 motor in the past, so a Tacoma was a no brainer.

We live in Western Colorado, close to Moab UT and miles of awesome expedition trails and camping.
The plan for the Taco is a freeway capable, expedition rig/daily driver. This truck is bone stock except for the brand new Michelin 265 70 16 AT2 tires, previous owner had some coin to spend on these.

Im blessed to live near an amazing Toyota shop, Safari LTD. and Alcan Spring is located 5 miles from my house, so I know my mod addiction will be well supplied.
But I digress, Today started out simple, Dylan and I did the following

Deck Plate Modded the factory air box
    K&N Drop in Air Filter
Mobil 1 5w30 oil change with Toyota filter
    Denso spark plug change

Small changes but very satisfying, none the less!
Next up is DIY Raptor spray bed liner!

Installed a "Wheelskins" leather steering wheel cover. Looks factory. Much better than my worn out steering wheel, and much nicer to the touch.

Looks great, where did you mount it by? should take a little further away picture. Im thinking of moving mine over to the passenger side.

Not sure where else to ask this but does anyone know if the 2000-04ish range of tundras have the same front mounts for bumpers as any of the tacomas or 4runners?

Trying to help a friend find a bumper or build one but cant find much info.

I have the same one. It wore out in less than a year. I'll get a pic.
For $50 and the amount of thumb pain to install this bitch, I'm moderately pissed off.
