Does anyone know any gunsmiths in the ffx area that can swap the upper on an ar-10? Just got the rifle yesterday but I'm not too comfortable with doing that kind of work on it.

OME 883 coil set, Bilstien 5100 adjustable struts with Light Racing UCA's up front AND roughcountry nitro 9000 rear shocks with 8 leaf Alcans in the back. BF Goodrich AT KO 265/75/16 on Wheelers 16x8 black steel wheels. ARB front bumper mounted with KC Day Lighter 100 watt halogen lights and 2" back-up firestik antenna. Cobra ltd 29 CB Radio with PA speaker mounted under the hood. In the bed: 2 bike Thule rack, spare tire, 5 gal. Gas tank, and my tool box all covered by a softopper shell. Main 3" Firestik is mount at the rear. She sits pretty, and runs like a champ.
On a side note, as I have posted earlier I put some alcan's in the rear. I checked out the alcan sight and they say that getting a longer shackle is actually ideal for better performance out the springs. I was thinking about getting the toytec 1" shackle and going for it. Especially since I'm a shy quarter inch from a level lift. Any thoughts? Any experience with alcan leafs? Eh?

Swap an upper? So bolt, charging handle and two pins to swap right? Am I missing something because this is an ar-10?

It's only the upper receiver. So the barrel, quad-rail, and gas tube would need to be swapped over. VA arms quoted me $30 so I'll probably just run it over to them.
