got the BAMF light mount installed and the 2 LEDs behind the grill, need to clean up wires a bit but will get pictures up tomorrow.

 

New changes to the truck coming soon...
have a Total Chaos long travel suspension on its way.
3.5+ kit, coil bucket gussets, spindle gusset, alignment tabs and aluminum LCA skids will be installed.

Stereo upgrades include Alpine power pack, Rockford Fosgate P165-S speakers and SO 8" sub and Raamaudio sound deadener kit

Glassorks fenders/bedsides/bumper caps on ordered tonight, hopefully they ship in a reasonable time frame.

should be ordering the King coil overs and bolt in rear shocks with compression knobs that will work with the Dakars tonight or tomorrow.

rims will be ordered next pay day and then once all the parts arrive the install shall take place and then it is off to the body shop to get fenders and bedsides painted.

after everything is dialed in and checks out good, i will be starting a 20k mile road trip across the US and Canada. stoked!!

 

Matte bronze F-5 rims arrived today, getting them mounted tomorrow.
TC kit is scheduled for delivery tomorrow as well.
going to be a fun week!

wrapped up my stereo install today, as well as got my tires swapped over to the new rims and picked up a full size spare.

weathertech floor mats should arrive tomorrow.

starting the dissasembly of the front end tomorrow after lunch to prep for the LT install. would like to atleast get the spindles and axles off tomorrow so i can go weld up the spindle gussets and alignment cam gussets.

thanks to eric(General Offroad) and letting me use his bottle for my mig welder, ill be welding up all the gussets tomorrow and hopefully hanging the suspension by tomorrow evening.

also placed an order for Pelfreybilt tube bumper and IFS/Mid skids.

 

got the welder set up and dialed in this evening, welded up all the alignment tab gussets and one spindle gusset.

tomorrow will be a full day of welding and assembly. pictures will be up tomorrow night.
depending how far i get, i am hoping to set the truck down on full bumps and check clearances for everything.

 

You need to start posting pictures of the whole process its not fair to us by standers

 

i swear i am the laziest person when it comes to working on my own truck ha. only got alignment tabs on one side welded up, spindle painted, and installed one control arm.

ha no money growing on a tree, i just know going into building a truck it is a waste of money, but i have fun doing it.

once my road trip is done and i save up a couple thousand to buy a sail boat and this truck will be sold then ill be sailing around the Caribbean with some friends for a few months

 

Yeah I would say so man! You should sell me the parts before you sell it.
