I'm trying to organize a last minute weekend to Coal Creek (Windrock) during my kid's spring break. Some local guys (cheeps) and some toyos (fjs and tacos) involved. It's only 2 weeks away unfortunately. Maybe one of the weekends the 16th or 23rd. Something like 3 or 4 days. It's 5+ hr drive for us but possibly the best offroad park in TN. Anyone interested?

There is a good chance I'll have to go to Louisiana instead, but if I can get enuf on board, I'll have more ammo to work w/ to make it happen. :)

It's a tragedy, I live right next to Windrock but from what I've heard of the good trails, I'm not ready for it.

The maps are great and even GPS'd. The trails are marked by difficulty. There is something for everyone there. There is even mining roads you can run if thats all you wanted to do. Its gorgeous up there! I atv the place for years. Used to know it well. It's grown a lot since then and never been in a truck. Will be my first. If old man FJ can do it, anyone can! :)

Haha alright bud, let me know how it is. I know a couple guys that go up there with their built up beater cherokees and get them broken, so maybe I haven't heard about the trails I should be on.

Haha ain't that the truth! Lol and that sounds just like Superlift in Hot Springs. 50% of the trails only a dedicated rock crawler can even attempt to go through and a lot don't make it but the other 50% are exactly for people like us that have crappy ifs and aren't badass built rigs but wanna get a little thrill ride and see what we can pull off. Most good offroad parks are like that. If anything it's financially dumb to limit a park of that size to such a small community of built trucks. I'm sure all of us would be perfectly fine on a weekend trip there. Brad will just be our guinea pig :D
