    Evening all:
Mark, hope Lynn is doing allright. Sounds like she has my type of luck, could be one in a million and it would happen to me!
At least they know what's going on and can properly take care of it.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, folks! I just trded some text messages with her - she's OK but shaky from all the pain meds and no food. SHe's on a clear diet and didn't eat last night. She will have some food this morning that should make her feel a bit better - but they don't want her to eat too much because it stimulates bile production.

So, here I am, the bed linen has been changed, the old linen is in the washer, laundry is sorted and I am about to clean the few dishses in the sink. I'm feeling very domestic this morning.

Glad to hear Lynn is feeling well enough to text you, but we are still keeping her in our prayers. When you go to visit, give her our best wishes.

:facepalm:Concrete floor makes for a tougher job. Mine was a split level so I had all kinds of access for plumbing and drains. SHHHHH!! did you get a permit to do the bathroom???? They like you to get permits down here so they can come in and inspect and make your life miserable by picking it apart.[/QUOTE]

    Evening all: SHHHHH!
All the shrapnel is behind the house. Now just got to get rid of the evidence. :D
At least I can burn here, and will put the rest out little by little for the garbage. Can't put too much out though; may be noticed by :spy:'s! I broke up alot of the drywall, and it's in the big catfood bags.

Mark, glad to hear your wife is doing better.

Need a permit to do a bathroom remodel? Please do not tell the county I live in that you need a permit. They already take too much of my money.

Best of luck on the bathroom.

There is no new const. in Orl so now you have to get a permit for everything...I put up 24 ft of new 6 ft. wood fence by my carport just to hide the new 100 gal trash cans from the city... They put a stop work red tag on it 3 days after I was done with it.:mad:.. had to get a permit 16 $ & pay a fine 16$..:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:...Not happy with the code gestapo....[IMG]

So if you were finished could you not tell them it has been thee for a while?

I built a small shed/firewood enclosure for my trash can and recycle container. No issues with code enforcement.

Too bad you did not get a coat of paint on it then you could tell them it was just painted. I hustled and put paint on the same day I finished the construction last year.

The city code enforcement officer has not given me a ticket and it has been up for 14 months now.

Evening all..we need a permit for everything you do that requires plumbing or electrical. Hell it cost me $250 just for a permit to build a 10 x24 deck. The worst part was if the inspector came out and failed you it would cost you another $100 to have him come out to re-inspect:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::frusty:...

We think alike when it comes to keeping the project cost as low as possible.
