Still go AF.. im telling you.. I dont like to say it becuse I respect the other branches but working with Army and Marines it just seems like they all fell out of the idiot tree.. im sure they know what they are supposed to for there job but they act and do some stupid things.. and yea there are lots of AF people that are the same way but the ratio is in our favor

That peopel in the airforce are less likely to see action in Iraq.. everyday they are putting more and more AF people outside the wire driving convoys, doing police details and every day i was in Iraq we had a mortar or rocket attack on the base in our area because that is where the planes parked

The other thing is that Army and Marines that are deployed 75% of them are for jobs that are directly putting them outside the wire in combat situations.. where as 80% of AF jobs are inplace in a supporting role of those Soilders and Marines keeping us on the base, but that doesnt mean where not still in harms way.. and plus we still have Vehicle operators, Cops, and Spec Ops guys outside the wire doing what they do.. and the Army and Marines still have people that dont leave the base, making sure we are getting a pay check or that those bumps on that Soliders dick arnt herpes he picked up from banging that random girl behind the bomb shelter because he hasnt gotten his dick wet in 9 months..

From the best i can remember these are answers i really gave at the last briefing I had...

The funniest thing i have really every exspieranced in the military.. is that I go and brief "New" Airman about being deployed and my exspierances being in Iraq and SW Asia.. and these kids ask things like...

" Is it really, Hot and sandy, or is that just what people say"

~~Its the fucking desert, it gets up to 120 Deg, 80-90% Humidity in places and yea its sandy and if your lucky your walk to work is under 10 min~~
" Since we are in the Airforce we wont get shot at right"
~~ I was In Iraq for 190 days, and we were attacked between 275-300 seperate times.. you do the math. with atleast 30 of those attacks within 1000 yards of my location..~~
" If I do "Enter Job Title" will I have to get deployed, or can i stay in the US my whole carrer"
~~I dont care if you make food, work at the finance office or hand out towels at the gym, we got a job for everyone one of you.. so unless you fly UAVs your ass is going to the desert~~
" If I get deployed and dont like it can i just come home"
~~Your not fucking serious are you, if you didnt want to go to the sandbox why did you join the military.. I hate you~~
" You mean in the desert I wont be able to work 9-5 Mon-Fri and get holidays off like i do when Im here at Pope, but I work at the Finance office its like a bank.. thats not fair... "

~~Are you fucking kidding me... when I got to Iraq i worked 48 days straight without a day off 13-14 hrs a day.. and then got 3 maybe 4 days off a month for the last 4 months i was there.. and I was soo busy at work the only reason I got days off was because i needed time to go buy shampoo, or get a hair cut, or go to some bullshit office that was closed by 6pm because they didnt work the midnight shift like i did to make sure the supplies were coming in and out of the base.~~
