Finally getting a few flurries in Flowery Branch. And I mean "few". Not even enough that a camera would pick it up.

Guess I better rush to the grocery store and buy milk and bread. :D

Went to the casino in Cherokee last night for the first time. Even though I came back empty handed I still had a blast. Who knew losing money could be so fun. I'm going back Tuesday for my Casino Management class for a super secret tour :spy:

For the people who have Bilstein 5100s, when adjusted to 1.75 or any length did you get that true amount of lift or did it fall below that amount?

When I first measured mine I only got 1 1/2" but measured again later and had more. Can't remember the 2nd numbers, and didn't care enough I guess, to remember that is because it is what it is. So I don't know if It was just sitting a bit different or maybe I just wasn't reading accurately based on my tape position? Meaning maybe I didn't quite hit center of the wheel.

You already have a 3" right? Looking for someone else or considering dropping yours back down some?

:jellydance: I like the look of the factory roof rack. Did you buy yours new? I remember looking into them when I first got my truck but can't remember what they run or where the cheapest place to get them was.

I bought mine straight from my dealership for $250. I did find it online for $212 but I kept reading about people missing parts when they ordered online and I didn't want to take that chance. Plus it came in the next day since Toyota has them in stock.

Do you plan to use yours or just for looks? Seems like a lot just for looks. That was why I quit looking into it. Though maybe I'd find a used one for reasonable on here but never have.

Both but mainly for looks. My wife wants to get kayaks so I figured that would be my excuse for the rack. :D

So you're running the factory coils?

What tire size are you running? Have you tried trimming some of the plastic in the fender well?

Yea Im running factory coils with the Maxtrac spindles. From my thinking, they should still work with the 1.75 setting on the Billies because the spindles are supporting everything right now. Correct?

What tire size are you running? Have you tried trimming some of the plastic in the fender well?

I'm running 33s and yes i've trimmed the plastic a good bit but i'd rather just raise it 1.5 more inches than continue cutting since i already have the 5100s installed.

Do you know what part you are rubbing? Or you just notice a noise and a vibration during some turning situations? I feel like trimming more will be much easier and less time consuming since you have already trimmed some. What setting do you have your them at now? It they are at the .0" setting then I wouldn't touch them. Stacking lifts is generally considered a bad idea.

Yes I know exactly where it rubs but it only does it in rare cases. The 5100s are ran with most spindle lifts and almost all of them have it at a different setting plus spacers but I'm not trying to get a 7" lift. I don't off road unless I'm going through some pastures to go campin so the shocks won't be taking a beating. I just didn't know if it were a true 1.75 inch lift or if it was lower.

Mine were set at .85 and I got ~ 1.5-2" of lift if that helps. I was 4x4 though.
