    there is no ego damage with a 4 cyl. JW is a 4cyl, and there are no issues there. Its not a drag truck captain muscle car, so IDGAF how slow it goes.

    ON THAT NOTE! I actually got a mile per gallon BETTER with the bumper on than I did the fill up before with no bumper... so clearly the more armor i put on the better my fuel economy is.

    Exactly! Guys on 33's with rear lockers had so much trouble on that obstacle that they slid into the rocks. What makes you think that you not having a rear locker will allow you to drive better than them?

    I hate to bash on you here Mark, but the odds are high... Although maybe when you come to that obstacle you could just have them strap you up it right off the get go. Sounds lame but I'll bet that saves you from mashing up your bedside.

    No funds..., so to speak. I'm really, really tempted to do a stealth mod of the Defined Engineering SUA kit, but if I get caught, it would be a bad deal... possibly ending in divorce... and I probably would get caught, cuz someone would notice it at a meet and ask me about it in front of her...

    I think the defined kit would be sick. It uses the factory hangers so it has a really steep arch, so it won't be as much of a drag for crawling like a lot of SUA setups are and it can be run with the factory shocks so I could do the upgrades in steps, and it has fairly heavy spring rating so sagging under weight shouldn't be much of an issue. Most LT guys are finding they can't get enough weight in the back to let it perform well. I could run some shock hoops with it to get some great travel out of it as well.

    I only have 1 issue with it so far. It only provides about a 2" lift. I'm not sure how well it would perform if I added in a shackle flip kit and longer shackles to get it to a 3+" lift to level me out and keep my clearance up for bigger tires.

    For now I can live with my mid travel front. It performs pretty well so far. The only thing that could make it better is some Hydro bumps:D but those are so pricey they will likely be waiting for the full LT kit, when I get permission to spend that money. haha
