Makes sense, and gotta love the 1st gens.

Just as an idea some guy at my school sold his 05 prerunner for like 16K, although it had a 6" fabtech lift.

You should get at least 17, but I'd sell it for more.

QUestion for anyone in/around Greensboro. My grandpa left me his 84 Dodge W150 when he passed away last year and I really want to get it restored and drive it, but it has some problems that I have no experience with, so i'm looking for a reasonable shop where i can get it repaired and running right.

It constantly has white smoke coming out the tailpipe when i let it idle (can't drive it now because i need to do rear brakes this spring), whats the likelihood that this is a head gasket problem? Could it be anything else?

Also, it has a carburetor and when i was driving it last summer, it would stall out when i punched the throttle, but would accelerate verrry slowly and not stall if i was easy on it...ran carb cleaner through and that didn't help...carb rebuild?

Parents said they would help me.. but I honestly don't want to depend on them. I'd rather just get it over with, find me a nice 1st gen, 4x4 so I can off-road, lifted so I can off road and mud without the thought of throwing my 23k truck into mud holes with the thought of getting stuck and flooding it. 2wd.. hah
