Plenty of guys on here running 35s with 3" lifts. It looks great but you will have to trim!!

    Fuck the body lift.
    Fuck the blocks.

Put a real 3" suspension lift on and enjoy.

The rear will clear with 3" suspension. Front is more tricky. You will still rub fender flares in front, and your cab mount with a total of 6".

If you want to avoid cutting, you will need to pick a different size tire.

That's the truth right there. If you don't want to rub, stay stock

Why on earth would you be willing to put on a body lift but be unwilling to do a little cutting that anyone who's unfamiliar with lifted Tacomas won't even be able to notice??:confused:

Also - folks aren't deliberately avoiding answering your question literally. 3" body lift stacked on 3" suspension lift is a fairly unusual combination around here, so very few folks actually know for sure what level of wheelwell trimming (if any) is required.

One other thought for you -

A common tire interference point is the "cab mount" which is permanently welded to the frame. (Some folks would say it's part of the frame.)

At any rate, the cab mount does NOT move when a body lift is applied. So if your 35x12.5" tires rub the cab mount on a 3" lift (likely) they'll continue to do so after putting on a body lift, unless you cut it. (see "cab mount chop")

if i stay with just the 3inch suspension lift, would there be a lot of cutting other than the cab mount??

You'll need to chop the cab mount, a 3 inch body lift will not get around that. Either 6 inch drop bracket, or 3 inch with a good amount of trimming will be required.

If you lift 3 inches, you wont need to trim as much as you would for stock suspension.
