So I've been waiting for my BCG from Rguns now for about 7 weeks... They said it wouldn't take more than 6 weeks to get it when i first email them before purchasing it. They will not response emails or answer phone calls. Never buy from this web site, THEY SUCK!!!!!

 

With the way demand is right now this should be expected honestly... although they should have over estimated shipping dates instead of under estimating

 

Heard the same from a lot of others. Expect to wait a few months. I know guys who bought in jan and still nothing.

Not sure if this has been posted, but it looks like the atf wants to change the rules on gun trusts, making it easier for individuals (no cleo sig) and a lot more trouble for trusts, etc. It has a date of july so we will see if it goes thru.

Im having a little trouble determining how to measure a barrel with extended flash suppressor to make sure its legal. Ive read measure from the exposed part of the barrel, drop a rod down the barrel and so on. I took a 14.5 inch barrel and extended flash hider to the local gunsmith. Both parts new from daniel defense and the guy measured from the outside of the barrel to the end of the flash hider. It was at 15 and 3/4 inches. He then told me I should get a gun trust and pay a 5 dollar tax to the atf to have it registered as a sbr. First of all I was really surprised that it was short because everything i read sait it would make the 16 inch mark with an extended hider, and I thought it was a 200 dollar tax... he said no, sbr and short barrel shotguns were 5 and silencers were 200. Can someone that knows tell me first what the appropriate way to measure would be and if I went the sbr route, is it 5 or 200? Thanks

 

It's measured from the bolt face on a closed bolt. That's where the rod test comes in handy. I use a brass rod that is painted red for 16.1", if you can't see red, it's legal. It's a $200 tax to SBR. That's not an extended flash hider. That's why there are 14.7" barrels out there, to cover that little bit you are short

 

Seriously? This guy has been in business for 30 years as a gunsmith and dealer. I knew something was fishy there... incedentally I he had tapco 30 rnds mags for a mere 69.99......

So do you know the answer to the tax question?
