    Because of the current ammo situation, I'm not buying any firearms that I do t already have a caliber with some stock in. I was looking to pick up a 45 xd for my bday in jan but I do t wanna pay double for the ammo from private sales.

    Ammo is out there but it is more expensive and its gonna be sold privately through gun forum websites mostly

    All the shops up here have 9MM too, you just have to ask for it. Cabelas is limiting to 10 boxes per trip. Most gun shops and ranges are limiting to two.

    range by my house wont sell any ammo to go except .40 and even that is only one box per trip

    So when Obama got elected the first time, we went through this. I finally had enough and decided to start reloading again. When things got back to normal, I stocked up on tons of primer, bullets, and powder. So glad I did now that we are back to the same problem. I see the end of summer until ammo will be back to normal. For now, I have rounds to last for 2 years.
