K&N air filter problem

    Well idk what the problem is so idk if its the sensor or not. now the truck has trouble starting with the new MAF. idk what i need to do know. I dont wanna bring it to toyota but i will if i can get it there. i cant drive over 30 and dont wanna do more damage

    I did, it having troble starting now. Imma bring it to my uncles shop tommorow and hell figure it out. but idk if i should try to drive it there or have it towed:confused:

    then give up and have yer uncle repair it anyways :confused: :notsure:

    Prolly a dirty IAC valve (5vz ?)

    did you reinstall the original MAF to see if it restarts
    as it did prior to replacement ?

    could be a faulty aft. mkt. MAF sensor
    does it look the same as the original part ?

    Yeah my bad, I was in a panic situation and i was reading all over online and what people posted but nothing was working. I wasnt giving to many leads for people to help, I was expecting you guys to magically fix it online but it was a freak out last resort thing to ask for reassurance mabye.

    But update i drove it to the shop carefully today, It was backfiring and the CEL was blinking but then it slowly went back to normal. He was running it all day and its running fine now no i dont know if it was the MAF and it just took a while to work or what but he's gonna test it again tommorow and see.

    I guess im sorry for freaking out though. :rolleyes: thanks though
