Muscle car guy, but love me Tacoma!!!

Just thought I would introduce myself. I recently picked up an almost new (11 months in service) 2011 Tacoma double-cab short-bed with the TRD package.

We almost bought a used FJ, but couldn't make it work with the family. Now that I have the Tacoma, I'm glad the FJ didn't work out. I love this truck - it supports my old car habit nicely. I'm hauling some rims in for refinishing later today.

The truck came with a tonneau cover and running boards already installed. So far, thanks to this site, I've taken steps to keep my tailgate from walking off. Replacing the radio with something closer to the 2013's functionality is on the radar.

I've been searching these forums quite a bit already, and I've really come to appreciate the wealth of information here. Thanks to all for sharing! Maybe, someday, I'll be able to contribute in some small way.

Funny you say that. After spending 5 years rebuilding my last project, my wife shuddered when I told her that I found a great Tacoma Forum, lol.
