Hey my name is Devin and I just got my 02 Tacoma a few months ago. Just stumbled onto this forum and figured I'd join. This site really gets me amped up to start building up my truck. Im into going out mudding and on trails. Whats the first thing I should do to my truck thats affordable? any suggestions?

    Future possible mods:

    -4"-5" suspension lift
    -Relentless Front Plate Bumper
    -Spray on bed liner
    -LED Tail Lights (Smoked)
    -New Headlights (Smoked)
-New Tailgate ( Current one has minor dents and scratches)
    -BAMF Sliders
    -Tint Windows
    -Camper Shell (Maybe)

Im new to working on trucks and dont know too much. Any comments or suggestions to help get me started on a kick ass four wheeling truck would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Go 3" instead of 4" to 5". I recommend OME.
Tires. Hard to go mudding with out mud tires.
I got sliders & skids before a bumper (I'll get front and rear bumpers someday).
I know Eric & he will make all my trail armor (unless I can't talk him into making LCA & rear diff skids).
Jerry also does quality work from what I've seen & heard.
I just noticed you claim to have a '02 PreRunner TRD 4x4. Which is it a PreRunner or a 4x4 it can't be both.

Thanks Randy. Appreciate the tips. Haha its definitely 4X4 and says TRD all over the place. I just thought Pre Runners were the Tacomas that had power windows and locks. And TRD was the 4X4 package with the bigger engine. Maybe its not a Pre Runner.

    All TRDs have V6s
    TRDs come in 2wd (PreRunner) & 4x4
SR5 or Convenience package (what I got on my Base 4x4 AC) gets you power windows and locks.

Gotcha. Then I have the SR5 TRD. Thanks for clearing that up.

On a side note, how big after a 3" suspension lift can I go on tires? 31's or 33's?
