Reminds me, you doing the relocation mounts for Brian's Kings soon ??

 

Did them yesterday, took me from 9am till about 7pm, sooooo much cutting and grinding its ridiculous! Went through 9 cutting disks and 2 grinding disks and a flap wheel, all wasted, lol.

I looked like a fucking coal miner by the end of the day. But they turned out sick!

First time I have met Brain, really nice guy.

Still gota put on extended brake lines, relocate the reservoirs, and get bigger bumpstops because the shocks are going to hit before the bumps do, but once thats done it shoud be awesome!

My dad had me shooting a 3 turkey loads freshman year, I was 95 lbs. I only had one shot, by the time I picked myself up it was dead or gone.

 

Today I get to do Micah's Lower control arm swap and install Poly bushings, yay. Gotta remove the rack just to get the damn bolts out of the rear of the LCA....booo. Also had to modify the head on one of the rack bolts so clear the front diff due to the diff drop putting the diff in the way!

 

Hahaha, nah, same price, your first born, no biggie....

Man I should taken some pics, it looked like stock! Or actually way better. I thought the second time around would have went faster, but not really, all the cutting and grinding is just really time consuming, Started before 9am and by the time I got finished I was working in the dark with lights set up..

 

Should be picking up my shocks today! Waiting for the call from DSMS

 

Yeah I was wondering how they matched up with the springs, he still has a little bro rake, (he's about an inch from level) I told him we could drop 1 leaf & replace the 3rd leaf with one with a tad more ARC if he wanted ..

Not cool, you know I weigh 120# soaking wet, its just the C02 type pellet rifles that kick too hard for me..

 

The leafs looked good, saw the 3 extra springs on the bottom, might need a bit more arch, he only has about 4' of uptravel before the shock bottoms, but the leafs will go about 5+" before they hit the bumps so bigger bumpstops (about 1+-2") and a bit more arch would be the ticket.

 

Sweet! your truck is gonna be pretty set up after all those goodies, hope you let me do it all, lol.

 

Hehehe at least the entire rear...sooo may have to leave the truck with you for a night lol. Gonna be putting hydro bumps on the back too, so that's more grinding/cutting for ya

 

No problem, lemme know when your ready and I'll set that thing up pro style! Good idea on the bumps, thats the way to do it! Did it on the Jeep and its fking great!

 

Yea everyone keeps saying why?? Go with regular bumps??? I just say...why not...DSMS says they are testing some good valving to control compression and rebound. Might as well go big or go home

 

Going to be selling my Jounce Hydro bumps soon if you want to wait....no grinding or welding
