Almost nailed my macros again. Goal is 200g protein 200g carbs and 50g of fats. I had more fats, I forgot to add in some almonds.

You guys can check out this ap called "fooducate" and scan food through out the grocery store for a ton of info and ratings.

Here's a typical pick up for me when shopping.

I cut creamer from my coffee and started using coconut milk and agave nectar instead. Creamer has way too many ingredients in it...

I was making my own creamer for a while with heavy cream, organic milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. but the coconut milk and agave is just quicker and easier

Last night I made a batch of protein pancakes
-one scoop clean unflavored protein powder
-half cup kodiac cake pancake mix
    -half cup steal cut oats
    -3 tbs egg whites
    -2 tbs ground flax seed
    -1 tbs cinnimon
-3 spoonfulls of organic apple sauce (most apple sauces have corn syrup, look for some without)
    -1 cup water
mix then cook on med/low heat to prevent burning.

I eat them with a little bit of local honey.

A 2011 ranking by U.S. News & World Report, involving a panel of 22 experts, ranked the Paleo diet lowest of the 20 diets evaluated based on factors including health, weight-loss and ease of following.[26] These results were repeated in the 2012 survey, in which the diet tied with the Dukan diet for the lowest ranking out of 25 diets; U.S. News & World Report stated that their experts "took issue with the diet on every measure".[26] However, one expert involved in the ranking stated that a "true Paleo diet might be a great option: very lean, pure meats, lots of wild plants. The modern approximations… are far from it."[26] He added that "duplicating such a regimen in modern times would be difficult."

From Wikipedia. The paleo thing caught my eye so I googled it. This isn't the same one everyone in here is talking about is it?

I guess you can say the reason i'm on it is more to lose weight, which I have. 20lbs since the 12th. Its also to rid myself of glutens which I believe was the cause of my ibs, excema and slight asthma. On top of that, I have given my body a chance to remove all the toxins that modern technology puts in our food such as preservatives.

Do you know when modern obesity really started setting in? It was actually early 20th century with the on set of preservatives and canning and bottling. Cleaning that crap out of your system can really give you great health benefits.

Ya I like the idea of that, but just didn't seem to get very good reviews which seems odd to me.

Its a huge thing for cross fitters, which i'm not. Just a more nutrient and meat based diet

In all honesty the paleo diet makes perfect sense. Cutting out all the crap the body truly doesn't need. I'm going to try it and give it a go!
