Sooo I found a post about a different approach to a snorkel... basicially he routed the intake through the fender and into the cab. Any thoughts? total set up is around 50$ and he made everything water tight.

Alright serious question here how the flip did he not kill his alternator? That jeep was in a lake!?

 

And I'm guessing I wasn't watching the right videos, but besides what Steve told me about off roading. "Remember it's a truck not a boat" what's wrong with trying to cross lakes in a jeep?

 

He mounted it to the roof? How the flip is it running there's no belts up there?!

Also mud will prevent the alt from working as well, did that Sunday, but have been still running the same alt with no issues yet, might even return the new alt I bought and just go until this one goes out

I hosed out the engine bay and now it seems to be charging... Have been driving it for a few days now and the bat light hasn't popped up still

factory location, covers removed. trust me i could care less i never use my horns i just flip ppl off and speed by them. plus they still work just dont sound right.
