It's a lot of fun building, I love fabbing stuff.

What I don't like is how backwards Trail-Gear engineers their products for these trucks, and their weak metal they use. Knowing what I know now, I would have rather bought joints, heims, and DOM and designed a 3 link instead of chopping things sideways for leafs.

I've never had good luck with electric calls, I just use the hand held scratch calls. But turkeys aren't really that smart haha, the color of the blind shouldn't matter.

Spare set of taco rims with 32" km2 tires mounted.

Trinity torch and regulator repair in Bartlett TN. Its my dads business that one day ill take over. we dont refill bottles, but tell me where you live at and I will make a call and find out the cheapest store for ya to go to. I heard rumor yesterday that some tractor supply stores are beating nexair and airgas prices on oxy and ace, but not sure how true that is. All we do at our shop is repair torches and regulators. We fix for all the main welding companies and dont normally do private parties but since your a yota guy I dont mind.

That's where it starts. Go with that or bigger. 125 is way too small.

said 175. but right now i don’t need something really big. only going to make stuff for me and maybe some local guys on here. if i ever need something bigger than i’ll get something bigger when i need it. till than something kinda small should work fine!

    I'm just saying don't get a 125.

250 would be nice. That's what I would go with. From my experience I always wanted a bigger welder. Had a 125 and 175. But I found myself at my buddys everyday for his welder.

    And tools.

yeah i’m still looking at some. think i’m going to go with a mig and have gas set up and everything. makes the best welds, some say it’s a little harder to learn on but oh well.

I have had good luck and lots of welding with my Hobart 187 Handler. Never let me down and I work it quite often.

I somehow broke a Miller 252 (millermatic) the other week, sent it into a protect mode. :(

Not being a jerk but dont plan on making anything anytime soon. Just doesn't work like that. To do a mig/gas set up plan on spending alot of money......alot of money. Find a torn down/abandoned building to get scrap metal and practice laying a decent bead first. My suggestion for a cheap way to learn is find a used stick welder (Craigslist, newspaper,eBay) you can buy flux coated welding rods and burn them up way cheaper than what gas runs nowadays and your spool of wire for mig at to cheap either considering you are learning and gonna run right through it.... That's not including the fact you gotta buy a good helmet, gloves, and jacket. in my eyes solar power helmets are the only way to go.
