alrighty so i had an issue with the guys at Truck Alterations.... looks like im not going to order the grill from them. The dude i was talking to through emails decided to be a total donkey. So in the mean time if anyone knows anyone that sells Grillcraft mesh grills please let me know. I am on the hunt.

 

What happened?

I just ordered one through Luke at TruckAlterations last Thursday. I didn't get any update on my order status so I kept calling Monday and Tuesday. Also contacted Grillcraft directly. Had to have Luke call up GC to see what the deal was.

It just shipped out of CA yesterday and should be here tomorrow via UPS.

wow holy crap see i delt with that luke guy too and he tried to charge me 152 + 18 for shipping. then i told him about other guys in HI getting free shipping and he fully got into an argument with me. I called him out on it.


*** but now seeing the bottom of the site i see the HI/AK shipping addition. But still its the principal. Those guys dont know customer service thats for sure.

Oh yea I didn't even notice that HI/AK shipping thing too, but that doesn't affect me since I'm up here in Utah for school. I wonder how those other HI guys got free shipping.

Anyway, there are other places that sell GC but won't beat that price for sure. Check carid.com they got the upper for sale at $180 Free Shipping.

 

yeah sadly ill probably just order it from them after truckfest if i dont figure out another way. I want to go hunt for some other materials i might use. I just hate giving money to people like that.

Yea man I know what you mean. But the good thing is that it's drop shipped straight from Grillcraft, so you only have to deal with TA for payment until they update you with tracking info.

 

oh well thats not too bad. but who knows maybe ill find something at Truckfest over here

Anybody have Duratracs? I'm considering those instead of BFG A/T. Just want some opinions, mostly about tread life.

I got duratracs for my stocks... running em now. Very good road tire. if you go on sand they suck. they like to dig down. but otherwise im happy with them. they look way more aggressive than BFG A/ts thats for sure.
