Yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to keep your wiring consistent...

Always wanted a bike and will never own one..given a choice I'd rather buy an old car. Plus my wife would not like it much..I'd get a trike though.

I had a Sportster bought new in 93. My first kid came in 96. Had to get rid of it. Needed the $ and i took too many risks. I was alot younger then. I do miss it. Would love a Road King someday. Maybe when i retire.

Added the fiberglass filler aka dog that ate fiberglass shit. Going to sand like crazy in a few hours. The glaze it and I'm done for the hole filling part. Then just dremel the rest flush and mesh it.

Yea my bike is built like a tank it's around 420 lbs full but has tons of torque. It will hold 90 but it's singing pretty loud. And only 90? I'll let you take the bike down the center of a rail road track with 5 inches on each side and zero room for error or it going to really hurt.

I wire in all black always but with each circuit I have a diagram along with colored electrical tape every 6-8". I always use a relay NO MATTER WHAT, and wire loom to organize that specific circuit. Why to keep it clean and factory looking.

I'll be building a harness for my Hella 500's HID converted 3000k (yellow) with in the next week or so. I don't like the factory harnesses some of the offroad lights come with the wiring AWG is usually too small for the draw and something is bound to fail.

3/16" and a little 5/16". the winch mount plate will weigh in at around 35lbs, and the bumper itself with holes cut in it for airflow, lights and to save some weight will weigh around 98 pounds. my bumper design isn't as low of a profile as the cbi bumper, it has a little more meat on the wings and center bit. i'm going to see if i can knock off a few pounds on some facets. luckily though it looks like my toytec lift is more than enough to handle the added weight. may actually smooth the ride a little bit lol!

Just finished all 75.5 hours of Malcolm in the Middle. Awesome show! Then went to google to find out what happened to Frankie Muniz. No bueno. He's drumming in those girly "punk pop" "emo" bands. Lame.

Gotta find a new series to watch on Netflix

I'm surprised the 250 will hit that speed, usually they're geared lower. I used to ride rail road tracks growing up. We had a nice setup, the wood, steel and heavy ballast was gone so we had miles of straight, smooth gravel track to bomb down. I've ridden on the heavy ballast before and that stuff sucks! As far as the speed, I was just busting your balls because you were giving Becky a hard time about her bike topping out at 60 or 70

I pretty much try to stick to black and red or black and white but will use other colors for the low voltage control wiring (I had a spool of blue wire laying around). I do the same thing you do except I put electrical tape at the ends and mark it so I know where it's going at the other end.
