My first ding (chip in the paint) on my sliders came from a door in a parking lot. The woman even had the stones to wait for me to come back to my truck and give me an earful about how it damaged the edge of her door.

I'm a really nice guy so I don't explode on people or mock their stupidity but I asked her, "are you really angry at me because you hit my truck with your door?"

She replied, "Well what are those things sticking out? Seems like they don't do anything but present the opportunity to damage other vehicles."

"They're called 'sliders' and they're meant to protect my truck"

    Wow, that's a score jace.

My girlfriends parents got me one of those biolight stoves, definitely something cool to use camping.

On a more important note. I'm thinking of bringing my welder up to Denver this spring. We'll see if I can bring anything else (chop saw, other basic metal working tools), but I'm mainly looking for a place to use it. I doubt the house I'll have will be able to support a welder (most houses around DU are ancient), although its not a 220, just a 110v. So it doesn't need a special plug or anything. Not looking to store it anywhere, just a garage to bring it to and use for the day, obviously whoever the homeowner is will get welding jobs or small projects done complimentary!

Let me know if you're interested in being a foster home :p.

I'm suprised you didn't have one. Go train with it, ill take you and show you how to really dial them in. Don't let an avalanche be the first time you have to be proficient with it. Did she get you the BCA tracker 2?

Yeap! I should be able to do that for you. Just finished a sub panel in the garage with 20amp 110v circuits and a 30amp 220v. Every plug has its own circuit now.

Taking my cousins up pikes peak today think I should mount the GoPro so I can play with it a little. My cousin has one too a little dual view action.

you left to much room for her to get in, I would have got so close she would have to use the passenger door. Also bob we could get a couple guys together some night and move that car side ways in her spot see if she likes that parking job
