Why is only half if Idaho included in the first 2 maps? Is Boise not in the PNW?

You show me a part of Idaho that touches the Pacific and you have a case , get over it

 

Hey I'm not the one that decided the classifications. It doesent have to touch the pacific to be in the pnw, it still fuffils the northwest requirement. Idaho is more pnw than Midwes

Weriwether Lewis once claimed he could see the pacific ocean from the top of Lemhi Pass. Certainly that qualifies all of Idaho and western Montana as being in the PNW...doesn't it?
