    It said it was a chipped key but I don't c y I don't spend another 6 n get it from the link u gave what if I got a remote n programmed the remote but told em the key suddenly stopped working? Is it logical??

    so i bought a FOB from eBay and it works perfectly. Programming took two minutes. I spent $21 instead of the $240 the Stealership wanted to charge me.

    Just need to buy one more now...

    Hey guys, this may be a stupid question. I just recently pruchased a 2009 tacoma 4cyl 5 speed. It has power locks. It came with 2 keys but no key fobs. How do I know if it has a keyless entry receiver and whether I can just buy a factory fob or if I need to install either a factory receiver or aftermarket receiver.

    I bought a remote on ebay for ~$15 and works good very asymmetric to programme yourself
