This is exactly why I love this forum. No one thinks twice about lending a hand.

I really appreciate it! Me and my alignment tabs thank you.

Can you reinforce them like the Total Chaos ones? Just so I don't eff mine up like the original ones?

Grille is almost done. Skipped the finishing and spot putty. This thing is all fiber glass. Went from 3lbs to about 20.

Got back about 45 minutes ago. Some jackwagon tried to pass me on the right, started to veer towards guardrail, overcorrected, and did a nice slow 360 across all 3 lanes and slammed ass end into the median guardrail. 84 north of Hartford was garbage, but guy had it coming driving that fast. Was going to stop, but I just called it in. He did his 360 about 10 in front of me, butt puckered up nice and tight...

In had one. But I finished what I went down there to do, and mist of the guys down there are from CT, they work in NJ during the week and drive home on weekends. They were all leaving tomorrow morning. So not much reason for me to stick around. Plus now I didn't waste a day traveling when I could get work done

84 in ct was the only bad spot. Everywhere else was just wet. Not a bad ride, just crappy visibility at times.

Sounds like you need a satoshi with some trek lights.

Trek lights are horrible in the snow. To close to 6000k. Just makes the snow blinding. We need some amber covers

Well that's some shit. There are dual color LED's... Our police cars have them. It would be cool to have an LED lightbar with it... Work your magic with that guy you traded sexual favors for your lights in ME with!!

Yea those bars would be illegal with dual LEDs. Hook it up to a strobe and you have orange and white. Swap blue for the orange and you're impersonating a police officer.... So wait! Maybe you want to be an impersonator!

Speaking of police impersonator: I drove past a cop in North Andover and he looked at my truck and waived to me like he knew me... I'm thinking maybe he thinks I'm an undercover cop cause the lights do look like police lights.

It's not the color that makes them suck in the snow, it's the pattern. An amber cover will just filter the light and make the light dimmer. Instead of a white wall, you'll have a yellow wall in front of you when driving in the snow. That's actually really good to know about that with the LED light bars.

    LED's - 0
    Halogens - 1

    :stirthepot:

You do realize that those bars are illegal for on road use regardless, right? Even my halogens shouldn't be used on the road and I could get ticketed for using them. There are a quite a few guidelines on light placement, function and description of what a 'legal light for on road use' can be. Technically, the fog light any time mod is illegal as well.

There is a LED light bar company out west that makes multi-colored bars. They were selling one not too long ago that had red on one side, white in the middle and blue on the other side.
