Awwww man, Here I am spending all this money on a Tacoma, making ready for the zombie apocalypse, when someone already made something better.

 

There is a LT 2nd gen that parks on vista ave right next to the 94 just east of the massachusetts exit (the la mesa/lemongrove IN-N-OUT) Is that someone on here?

 

Fuck Fuck Fuck!! Anyone down here have any good auto body places? Last night I tried to park in our underground parking garage, which I park in when I get home late after my truck was broken into...And one of the people that parks next to us was right on the line, so I tried pulling in...got about halfway in and was like...hell no I can't fit, backed out...as I'm backing out I guess I swung to wide, my Avid bar caught the edge of this really cool guys bumper...tore the bumper about halfway off. Mind you, it's like 1030 at night. So I tried to fix it, couldn't do it, so I went and parked, came back and left a note telling him to call me. Now I'm waiting for his call, he's a fellow Navy guy I think, so I'm gonna offer him a ride to work and hope he's cool about it all. I'm totally going to pay to have it fixed, just hope he doesn't flip and want to get insurance involved.

Eh...not sure I was pretty panicked at the time...I wanna say it was like an old accord or something like that. I don't think I actually broke anything, it just looked like it popped off of all the tabs and it needs to come off completely to be put back on properly.

 

You probably ended up just breaking the clips off, most likely gonna be pretty cheap if there is no paint work involved..

 

It didn't look like It touched the paint. The end of my avid bar basically just hooked under his wheel well and pulled the bumper off from the inside. It didn't even look like anything was broken...Hopefully its just an easy fix.


Just took the wife to work, got back and he's gone lol. Ugh! Was hoping he'd call so I can get this over with lol.

 

any of you know where i can get the hella black magic 1000 here in san diego, preferably close to chula vista, for a good price? also do you guys know if the hid kit bulb fits in the light without having to drill a hole. i know they don't fit in the hella BM500. thank you.

Got some new tires, but I'm getting some major rubbing I'm going to try to trim some plastic.

I went from 265/70/16 to 285/75/16

 

ya trimming will be needed, you should not need much though.

 

Hopefully I can get by on just trimming, because right now it sounds like I'm going to rip my truck to pieces just from turning the wheel a little.

 

Think you might need wheel spacers..I don't think the oem wheels back spacing is enough to run 285/75/16's.
