Idaho BS thread in the PNW

we are passing about 15 laws currently and they are all awesome. including arming someone on school grounds, and making it illegal for a business or any type of private or public building to refuse someone admittance into the building because they are carrying a gun. They will instead have to provide armed security and secure storage if they dont want anyone carrying a weapon into their facility. With the exception of schools and bars, but only if your consuming alcohol.

 

They banned guns in Colorado ?

 

They just passed a bill that can be used to ban pump shotguns... It was designed to ban high capacity magazine weapons though.

Hey Oz, what are the laws in Canada? I thought you guys could own guns, but have recently learned that you at least can't have pistols, or is it no guns at all?

Canadians can own guns , including pistols , however pistols are a restricted weapon meaning for most owners they can only use them at a range

Canadian gun ownership is more centred around using them for hunting and less about personal protection

Hadn't heard that story before but after reading the original story it sounds like a combination of over-reaction by the school and cops as well as sensationalized reporting for effect

 

Basically if you want to own a pistol here, you have to keep it locked up. If you want to use it, you have to notify police which gun range you are going to, when your going, how long youll be there, how many rounds youll be carrying, how many you will shoot, and when you'll be getting back home. Along with all the licensing bullshit
