when you guys go mudding, do you guys leave the mud on till it rains or till you feel like cleaning her up....or do you go straight to the carwash? i been reading that its bad to leave it on...i love the way the truck looks all muddy.

Def let the rain clean it or when I get around to hosing it off on occasion. Not the best for the paint, but I would be washing it non-stop if I let it bother me. Goddamn Oregon's ever present mud.

Is there supposed to be any play in the carrier bearing? I've been having some clunking under load and that's my suspect.

Thanks man, that will be helpful. And I figured it wasn't good when I could move my driveshaft up and down inside the cb by hand haha.

I always forget to take a before picture but believe me, they were NOT black whatsoever, more like a grey with speckles of black... so I painted the windshield wiper cover.
I used this in the flat black, not glossy and it turned out REAL nice.

About a month or two ago electric mirrors had to go into my 99' Taco since those manuals were a pain in the ass whenever they got bumped.
    Here's the finished product:

It was nice that the punch out was already there for the interior controls, same size and everything!

I clean it off ASAP. The longer mud sits on all your components like ball joints, u joints, bearings, etc..the longer that sits there and wears away at it.

Your paint also suffers too if you care about it.

I wasn't painting metal, it's a plastic part, should hold up good as I've seen others positive reviews on here
