They really blew this one in my opinion. There's no mention of elves, a big fat guy in a red suit, or the fact that the book was written by 6 Italian guys 600 years after the "fact".

 

maybe if you watched it...and view the entire series, you may see what you feel is missing.

 

Good thing our nation was built upon a "trust" in God and not people who stir poo just for pleasure. Stay on topic. Haven't seen the program yet, but it seems worthwhile.

 

I've seen commercials for it and didn't really want to get into it, but many of you are speaking highly of it, I'll check it out when I get a chance.

I'll probably check it out. Although not a believer, I am fascinated by the history of religion.

I enjoyed the first episode, can't wait to see tomorrow nights episode! It does help if you've read the Bible to understand it though.

 

My favorite part is that it breaks the mold that HST/DSC typically use where they waste 2 minutes after every commercial break replaying the 2 minutes prior to the break.
60 minute show is typically 44 minutes of "show" and 22 minutes of commercials.
The new formula takes away another 15+ minutes and it's really only a 30 minute show.

 

Commercials suck but its only on till April so watch it while you can

 

Got the DVR set to record it.

 

I am recording the episodes and then watching it later in the week so I can fast forward through commercials. I thought the first episode was great. Looking forward to the rest. Tells the stories very well IMHO.

i don't remember the bible saying if he was or not, but i see no reason for him not to be.

i haven't seen anything but the ads for it, but it does look interesting.
i forgot about jonah and the whale until i saw the ad, i need to get out my bible more.

 

It is very good! Last night's episode was awesome. And yes maybe read your Bible more or get the Bible app like I have
