Lift question!?!?!

I have an 08 tacoma with a 3in toytec lift. i have 285/75/16 nitto tires and i still rub while making certain turns at different speeds. I wanted to know if i bought a 2 or 2.5 in front leveling kit if i would have to do anything special?

 

What wheels ?

So the rub is a new development ?

 

No they have always rubbed......... it was worse with my old tires I'm just now getting around to trying to fix it

 

Just trim a little and you should be fine

 

Are you saying you want to replace the toytec 3'' for a 2.5 lift?? You probably just need to do some trimming on the front part of the inner fender and the back part of the fender flare. Otherwise you will need to do a cab mount chop if your hitting the frame..

 

I wanted to add the 2.5 in on top of the 3 in lift is what I'm getting at. I've thought about chopping but I don't know much about it.

 

But yes the frame is the problem. If I had the cash I'd buy a 4in lift but I'm up to my neck right now....new home owner :/ lol

Everything is stock but the lift wheels and tires. . I bought the truck with the lift and I've changed the tires last August

IMPOSSIBLE.

 

I would not put spacers above aftermarket suspension.
