Just got my set across the border this afternoon, probably the first one in Canada :canada:. Thanks Rob. I also stopped to a nearby Radio Shack to pick up some stuff for the install.

Before all my Canadian folks goes crazy, I must precise: I went to the USA to pick them up at a specific location.

I was happily surprised to find all the required instructions, plus wires harnesses, quick splice, etc. For the heat option, you have to find the components to make it work. I already have the switch, I just need the switch connector and the wire terminals, I will order them soon.

I plan to do the marker/blinker combo wiring. According to the diagram, it specify 1N5400 diodes. THIS IS OVERKILL for this application, the diagram was made for an incandescent light bulb. I will attempt to do it with 1N4001's instead, since these lights are LED. I will also test a wide range of resistors and try to find a perfect balance between marker and blinker. Sounds like I will be busy this weekend :D.

OK to all the Canadians still waiting for the shipment. They had the meeting and we are just waiting for a email for some software so that we can use our mailing unit to bill out the orders. This should not take long and I will get them out as soon as it is up running.
Sorry about the long delay and thanks to everybody for your patience.

I went and picked my camper up from storage and towed it home with the new mirrors on lastnight. The new ProEFX tow mirrors are AWESOME. I just flipped them up, pushed a button to adjust them, and magic. I could see perfect. Backing it up the drive was so much easier and I could see everything behind me. I could change lanes with confidence. If anybody wants to buy my lightly used universal strap-on tow mirrors let me know. If you are wondering whether on not to buy the proefx's or not, buy em! They look a little big on the truck, but not bad, they work great and seem to be top quality. I would definately buy them again.

    Nice to know !!!

I am actually in the shop installing them. I won't have the heat hooked up, but at least the wires will be routed and the marker/blinkers will be working.

Getting those wires through the doors is a PITA, but now I'm glad I am just done this part .

    WHAT ABOUT US ?

    :canada:

85% of the raw materials used to make these mirrors came from Canada.

A post, PM, or email update would be nice. We do exist.

2 months later and still shipping issues. I to am worried by the lack of updates or responses.

Since these are available from other sellers now that ship to Canada what are the chances of getting an update.

I am sorry about the delays but just so everybody knows all the Canadian orders were sent out on Friday. With all the problems and delays that we had I didn't want to post anything on here until I could confirm that everything was going through. I do want to personally apologize and thank everybody for there patience. I will be emailing everyone there tracking information tomorrow while at work.

Check out the view in the driver side mirror. Car beside me, side of camper, and the highway in the background. I love these mirrors. Best mod so far!
