Double cab. It looks better IMO and gives you more capability to haul people/stuff.

I've had two regular cabs (teenager) and two AC. As the daughter grew older, it was a hassle. Couldn't comfortably go anywhere with friends. DC made perfect sense for us.

I had an access cab and was fine with it but people werent so comfortable back there for more then an hour so having the double cab was more for me and it feels more soild cause of the B pillar where as the AC door rattles over bumps sometimes

As a prospective owner of a new Tacoma, I am having a REALLY difficult time trying to decide between the DC or AC. I literally go back and forth nearly every time I lurk about on TW.

I like the idea of having a 6 ft bed and not having to use a bed extender on a DCSB to achieve the same result. However, I also like the idea of having more interior space when needed for cargo and/or people in the DC.

I don't have family and kids to cart around (other than my spouse) and she drives a Prius. And I don't anticipate doing any purposeful off-loading in the future. but I understand the logic of having 4x4 just in case.

Perhaps a test drive will ultimately help me decide, but I just had to rant a bit about my indecision conundrum.

    Thanks

Love my 2012 regular cab. Who wants to be hauling people around?

You know...style wise...I really like the regular cab too. It's just to bad that this model comes so stripped. I wish the SR5 package were possible in the new Tacos...but it's not. Yeah, I know one can add on all of the convenience mods later, but doing a bunch of mods myself is not my idea of a good time.

As for the DCLB option, it would not fit in my garage....so no go.
