    Cobra 75 behind console. You can see the connection under the ebrake. Perfect for this but not sure how the new tacos r laid out inside. I went w/ the Big Bill Combo. I couldnt beat the price seperatly.

    Good choice dude. I just bought mine right before lbl and got great reception with it. Sounds are clear too. I bought a small speaker with it but the sound out of the cb is plenty loud and clear. And in my truck there is a change holder on the left side of the steering wheel. I cut the back of it out and keep my cb in there. U literally can't see anything with the change door closed

    Yeah I did. I noticed it would only do it when I had my head unit turned on. So I kept it off for a lil while but I got bored so I turned it back on and it started doin it again. So I turned the squelch up to where I could hear anymore static and it stopped doin it. So I guess that was it! Lol but it was def doin it through my truck speakers so maybe its like interference with the electronics. I did notice also that my cb would make a noises everytime the bass hit in a song so it kept a nice little beat goin! Haha

    eitherway for everyone else, def have a CB on the trail. it's so much easier with one.

    Check your ground and tune it. If you don't have a tuner, stop by a cb shop. Maybe you already did all of that but I had to work a bit on my ground to get my tuned. It's great now. If it's not tuned below 2.1 (mine started over 8), it will eventually fry it. Took some tweaking but finally got it below 2. BTW: The Big Bill Combo threw in a turner for free.

    Yeah I did all that. Redid my ground 3 times and tuned it till I got it down to 1.2 on ch. 1 and 40, and about 1 on ch. 20. I was thinking about that cable too Cody but like I said after I turned the squelch up, that noise went away.
