Why not put AALs? Blocks will give you axle wrap.

Go with a shackle to get 1 inch. You shouldn't re-use u bolts as the material fatigues and have been known to break after multiple times being re-tightened.

you can get a 1 inch lift block called a zero rate if you want. That'll give you the desired lift. Off road design has em, google it.

Hey Irish, take a look at this link and scroll all the way to the bottom, the blocks you want are 59.95 and come with new u-bolts.

We have shackles but longer ones will actually lower the truck due to the way they're designed and mounted.

Fabrication shops are chock full of customers like you. :p

You get the TSB done? That'd probably get you the lift you want for the right price. :D

AllPro is running a special on their springs this month. 3" lift springs for the 05+ Tacomas are $369 a pair.

I'm running them on my truck with their u-bolt flip kit:

Realistically, *anything* is possible if your shop is good enough. Most people are looking for bolt-on upgrades, and UPS generally doesn't ship custom fabrication work. :p

That link you provided is intriguing! How much cutting and welding is required to install that shackle flip?

Without modifying the suspension design, longer shackles will lower the new Tacomas as the attachment point for the leaf spring is above the stationary end of the shackle. I assumed that altering the suspension design was out of the question if swapping out the leaf packs was not an option.

And post some pictures of your truck. That's a nice list of mods you have!
