Today I cleaned the MAF sensor and Throttle Body and installed JLEE"S BPV Bracket.

 

Washed and threw on a new sticker...

 

Great looking truck bro... I love red Tacomas.

im curious could I run longer shocks with a stock sagged leaf pack? I found a good deal on some Bilstein 5150's but I dont have enough money for a leaf pack yet...

 

Do you have the shock part number? Or collapse and extended measurements?

 

You'll damage them. Depending on the travel they will most likely be close to bottoming out at ride height. Could always just buy them and wait to install with the leafs.

Looked at prepping/painting the rear bumper but talked myself out of it...instead I am going to look at a '99 4 Runner Sunday.....

Thats pretty cool... I'll be painting the chrome on my bumpers with bedliner soon so i was planning on just doin the same with the fender flares... this looks interesting tho!

 

I know! A month after getting all the parts...

I ended up having somebody just put it on for me. After spending two weekends and $80 getting nowhere, I just gave in... Plus I was going to have to take it somewhere anyways to get my new upper ball joints installed, so I got it all done at once.

I need new tires! Haha these little 31's just don't do it for me! Haha Btw my truck vibrates at certain speeds now... at 55 and 70. I got an alingment so that's fine, I'm wondering if it's my cv's, tires, or driveline. The truck did it when I bought it, but it went away because I think I got used to it. I'm wanting to say the wheels and tires just aren't balanced perfectly, but I'm not 100% sure. I need to get a diff. drop kit because my cv angles are almost too much. The inner fins are rubbing just a little bit more than I'd like.

Found out something about my truck.

When only the driver's side door is open both the driver's and passenger's courtesy lights come on. But when only the passenger's side door is open, only the passenger side courtesy light comes on.

 

Wow, now you've got me wondering about mine... I would have never noticed that! I'm too lazy to walk down three flights of stairs and outside to go check though...
