    I hope you are right. Didn't one of the previews show Tyrese guarding the wall with an AK? I hope this isn't one of those times when they go too far away from the comics...

    Well. I guess i'm eating crow. I thought for sure they never showed the hitchhikers face.
    He doesn't look familiar to me at all.
    So i'm just going to go with the other theory that he was no one of importance or that they knew. However, I still think there could possibly be something important in the backpack. Just can't figure out how this guy lasted so long walking on the main road with pots and pans bangin around in brood daylight.

    I think ultimately, as one of you guys mentioned earlier, driving past the hitchhiker was simply an exercise at the group "plugging up their bleeding heart".

    IMO this was the best episode (clear) since the pilot. I think the hitchhiker scenes was a way for writers to show that in the zombie apocalypse you are only as strong as the trust you have in your own group. The hitchhiker was alone and desperate.....therefore could not be trusted. He died and they swiped his gear. Cut and dry.

    Yeah we do. But, as I have said there is something odd about the hiker. The reason I say it is odd is because think about it for a minute - do you really think someone would be stupid enough to walk down the middle of the road with no weapons with all of the immediate threats?

    When I first saw the hitchhiker (when they drove by him), my thought was that he might be the guy from the Webisodes, and this was going to be how they combine the stories. Between him being eaten, and the screen shot, that doesn't seem to be the case.
